Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Maternity Leave Coverage (SeptDec) Washington

Were looking for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to step into a maternity leave assignment (SeptemberDecember) supporting a preschool caseload of approximately 45 students. This is an on-site role within a school environment designed to help young learners strengthen foundational communication skills that shape lifelong learning.
In this role you will be embedded within a collaborative special education ecosystem delivering high-impact speech-language services that support early developmental growth. Youll work alongside educators and support staff to help preschool students build confidence in expression comprehension and social communication.
What Youll Do:
- Develop clear data-informed evaluation reports and documentation.
- Evaluate speech and language abilities using formal and informal assessment tools.
- Deliver individualized direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students.
- Track progress and maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.
- Partner with teachers families and special education teams to align support strategies.
- Support early communication development through structured student-centered intervention.
Requirements
- Active or eligible Washington State SLP license and ESA certification.
- School-based experience preferred especially in early childhood settings.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Strong background clearance and ability to meet all required screening standards
- Commitment to in-person service delivery (this is a fully on-site position; teletherapy is not available).
