Job Title: Unit Public Affairs Representative

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Unit Public Affairs Representative. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week and the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as a passion for public relations and community outreach. As a Unit Public Affairs Representative you will play a crucial role in promoting the companys brand and maintaining positive relationships with the public.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote the companys brand and reputation

- Serve as the main point of contact for media inquiries and coordinate interviews and press releases

- Manage the companys social media presence and create engaging content to increase brand awareness

- Plan and execute community outreach events and initiatives to build positive relationships with the public

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels

- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide reports to management

- Act as a liaison between the company and community organizations government agencies and other stakeholders

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for the company to enhance its public image

- Handle any crisis communications and manage the companys reputation in times of crisis

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Public Relations Communications Marketing or a related field

- 2 years of experience in public relations communications or a related field

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational and project management skills

- Experience in social media management and content creation

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and media monitoring tools

- Knowledge of public relations principles and practices

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

- Strong networking and relationship-building skills

- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events and media opportunities
