Beckett Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in the Cincinnati-area township of West Chester OH. We provide inpatient and outpatient programming for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Our programs offer caring compassionate treatment for children adolescents adults and seniors as well as specialized programming for active duty military veterans first responders and other high-risk frontline professionals.

Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Help for Heroes.

How youll contribute

AUnit Clerkwho excels in this role:

• Greets patients and visitors.
• Answers screens and routes telephone calls.
• Calls codes pages and overhead announcements as requested.
• Enters nursing requests subject to the approval of a licensed nurse.
• Assists with processing patient admissions transfers and discharges.
• Assembles and maintains patient records and charts.
• Performs needed clerical tasks including copying filing and ordering/stocking supplies.
• Assists RNs and physicians with other patient activities as needed.
• Assists Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) when needed.

What were looking for
Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility with chemical dependency dual diagnosis psychiatric or geriatric patients preferred.
• Certifications: CPR and deescalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Schedule: Day Shift Monday - Friday
