Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Technician to join our fire business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide the inspection and testing of fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes
• Maintain complete and accurate inspection report documentation including deficiency repair recommendations
• Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site
• Interact professionally with customers
• Follow and maintain structured inspection schedules
• Communicate inspection status changes or problems to supervisor or manager
• Work overtime when needed
• Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role
• Adhere to local corporate and OSHA safety policies and procedures
• Maintain assigned vehicle tools and equipment

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years experience performing fire alarm inspections testing and troubleshooting
• Valid driver license
• Massachusetts Systems Technician D License required
• Massachusetts S License
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 applicable fire codes and inspection requirements
• Ability to read and interpret fire alarm system drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage daily inspection schedules
• Proficiency with mobile devices inspection software and report generation

Salary: $37.87 - $55.00 an hour depending on experience
