Duties and responsibilities of the position:

  • Set up new and renewal business files.
  • Clerical/admin support for the Safety & Loss Control department
  • Communicate with Head Office departments as needed.
  • Set up new policy documents and maintain integrity of files.
  • Premium processing for policies and endorsements
  • Set up reinsurance certificates in electronic system.
  • Processing policies and endorsements within written guidelines
  • Bill premium for premium bearing transactions
  • All other tasks that may be assigned by underwriters.
  • Data Entry
  • Clearing new business submissions in Salesforce
  • Enter policy data into various Starr platforms- Camilion Lynx Salesforce etc.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a Property Insurance company
  • Full professional fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications: Word Outlook Excel
  • Accuracy and speed in data entry and typing tasks.
  • Problem solving analytical and detailed.
  • Good at complying with deadlines.
  • Comfortable working within a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
