American Guard Services (AGS) is seeking a professional dependable and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officer to join our team in Lacey Washington. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers employees and visitors at a retail location.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas and monitor for security concerns
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft vandalism and unauthorized activity
- Observe and report incidents hazards and suspicious behavior
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff
- Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Respond calmly and professionally to emergency situations
- Follow all site-specific security procedures and company policies
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Washington State Security Guard License
- Ability to speak read write and comprehend English fluently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during an 8-hour shift
- Ability to maintain awareness and attentiveness throughout the shift
- Ability to remain calm and professional during difficult situations
