As a Unarmed Security Officer Graveyard Train Station in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $26.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access points check credentials as required and maintain awareness of activity in assigned areas to help deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations incidents and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in a security-related role is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
