Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Eureka CA 95501 (Eureka CA)
Employment Type: Fulltime
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-5:30pm

Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned premises to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
- Perform routine checks of doors windows and alarm systems ensuring they are secure.
- Respond promptly to alarms emergencies and incidents documenting all actions taken.
- Enforce company policies and local regulations while maintaining a professional courteous demeanor.
- Control access points verify identification and issue visitor badges as required.
- Prepare accurate daily incident and activity reports for management review.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when situations escalate.
- Maintain a visible presence to promote safety and reassure clients employees and visitors.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid California drivers license (if required for mobile patrols).
- Must have valid Guard Card
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical fitness to stand walk and perform basic manual tasks for extended periods.
- Clear background check and drug screening results.
Desired Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in an unarmed security or related safety role.
- Familiarity with basic security equipment such as CCTV radios and alarm systems.
- Experience handling incident reports and interacting with law enforcement agencies.
