Unarmed Security Officer

Alutiiq Diversified Services Inc. a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation has a great opportunity for afull-time Unarmed Security Officersupporting ourAirbus Helicopter customer located in Columbus MS.

This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.

• Responding to a variety of calls/incidents secures/safeguards specific scenes perform crowd control as required.
• Safeguard and secures all scenes
• Performs crowd control when needed
• Performs personnel vehicular and building facility checks
• First Aid and CPR as required and all Aognak training
• Completes all required reports forms and other established procedures via electronic security applications
• Must be able to Multi-task
• Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTVs access control emergency notification systems and mobile security applications.
• Maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies
• Safeguards all assets provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed
• Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOPs

Payrate:$14.50 to $15.00 Hourly

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to Multi-task .
• Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTVs access control emergency notification systems and mobile security applications.
• Ability to workOvernight shift hours (10pm-6am) is required. Flexible schedule is available.
• Successfully pass a criminal history background investigation.
• Must Speak English fluently; read and comprehend written English.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent skill using G-Suites applications.
• Must be capable of learning new computer programs and applications.
• Must be able to successfully complete approximately 40 hrs. of company provided training. (Classes can be scheduled 7 days a week). Portions will be online and then practical demonstration.
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam and drug screen.
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment Physical Readiness Test.
• Must be able to successfully complete and pass all company provided training; to include Expandable Baton Defensive Tactics CPR First Aid and incident report writing.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to successfully pass the Afognak Diversified Services Inc Drivers Safety Course.
• Must have a clean Driving Record.
• Current Operators permit. (Drivers License).
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with little supervision.
• Must be able to stand post for up to 4 hours without a break.
• Must have good timekeeping skills.
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must maintain and complete all Afognak Diversified Services Inc training practical or computer based.
