Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Syracuse NY

Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with Breast Imaging experience to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and support high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating sonographic equipment identifying normal and abnormal findings and communicating results effectively with radiologists and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations independently

• Operate and maintain sonographic equipment

• Conduct breast abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound procedures

• Obtain and review relevant patient medical history

• Accurately identify and differentiate normal and pathological findings

• Communicate significant findings to radiologists

• Maintain patient schedules and workflow efficiently

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and quality assurance checks

• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of examination results

• Follow all safety infection control and departmental protocols

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program recognized by CHEA/USDOE

• RDMS Certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN required

• Minimum one year of ultrasound experience

• Breast Imaging experience required

• Strong knowledge of sonographic anatomy and pathology

• Excellent communication and patient care skills

• Ability to work independently and make clinical judgments during examinations

• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
