Location: Smithtown NY

Days/Hours: 5/8.5 hour shifts Mon-Fri between 7:30am-6:30pm
Organization: New York Health

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams including general vascular cardiac and small parts in an outpatient setting.

• Prepare preliminary written impressions and communicate results to radiologists / cardiologists.

• Maintain and document regular equipment maintenance.

• Review and execute current lab protocols and assure emergent tests are expedited.

• Assist doctors with outpatient-related procedures/biopsies.

• Follow and understand all radiology policies and procedures.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Demonstrate excellent communication organization and computer skills.

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.

• RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) certification required.

• Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

• RDCS/Echo experience is a plus.

• Starting Salary: Starting at $42/hr
