  • Competitive Weekly Pay: $2800 $3041 Gross (Based on Experience)

  • Rotating Shifts:
    • 10:00 AM 06:00 PM
    • 11:00 AM 07:00 PM
    • 03:00 PM 11:00 PM
    • 04:00 PM 12:00 AM
  • Rotating Weekends Required
Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS) to join a dynamic healthcare team for a travel assignment in Hyannis MA. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and ultrasound equipment for diagnostic procedures
  • Select appropriate transducers and imaging frequencies based on exam requirements
  • Review patient history physician orders and supporting clinical documentation
  • Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images
  • Explain ultrasound procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout exams
  • Evaluate image quality and ensure proper documentation and labeling
  • Maintain accurate radiology and patient records
  • Assist physicians during specialized ultrasound procedures and needle biopsies
  • Coordinate workflow efficiently to support departmental productivity
  • Monitor equipment functionality and arrange maintenance or repairs as needed
  • Follow infection control safety standards and departmental policies
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and patient-centered care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program required
  • Current ARDMS certification required
  • ARDMS registrations in Abdomen and OB/GYN required
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • All certifications and registrations must remain active throughout assignment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to provide compassionate high-quality patient care in a clinical setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior hospital or acute care experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
