Cardiovascular Sonographer US Heart and Vascular Orion Medical

Orion Medical is in search of a Full Time Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team in southeast Houston.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs 2-D Echo stress echocardiography and Doppler studies.
• Perform vascular testing (preferred) including carotid doppler upper and lower extremities arterial doppler upper and lower extremities venous doppler venous Insufficiency ultrasound abdominal aortic aneurysm screening ultrasound ABIs.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.
• Ensures all required licensure/certification always remain active/current.
• Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.
• At all times protects the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) of patients per HIPAA regulations; including does not review his/her own record or records of employees or co-workers without a need to know.
• Actively demonstrates teamwork.
• Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.
• Always adheres to company safety standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular (ARDMS or CCI) is required current BLS certification.
