Mission Community Hospital is seeking an experiencedUltrasound Technologist IIto perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with ARDMS guidelines and hospital standards. The Ultrasound Technologist provides high-quality patient care while working with pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric populations.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations procedures and produce high-quality images for physician interpretation.
Ensure patient safety comfort and privacy throughout all procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with department and manufacturer guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with physicians patients and healthcare team members.
- Assist with scheduling patient flow and department operations.
- Report equipment issues and supply needs to leadership.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program.
Current ARDMS or ARDMS eligible.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Minimum three (3) years of ultrasound experience or equivalent demonstrated competency.
- Acute care hospital experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
