We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise excellent patient care skills and the ability to independently perform a broad range of ultrasound procedures while ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders
Prepare patients for procedures and explain examination processes
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
Evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy
Document findings and maintain accurate patient records
Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare team members
Ensure patient safety comfort and privacy throughout examinations
Follow all safety infection control and quality assurance protocols
Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Requirements
Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
Current ARDMS Certification Required
State Licensure as Required by Facility and State Regulations
Minimum 1 Year of Recent General Ultrasound Experience Preferred
Experience Performing a Broad Range of Ultrasound Procedures
BLS Certification Required
Strong Knowledge of Ultrasound Imaging Techniques and Anatomy
Ability to Produce High-Quality Diagnostic Images
Excellent Communication and Patient Care Skills
Experience with EMR Systems Preferred
Ability to Work Independently During Evening Shifts
