Job Description Summary:

The Human Centered Design Engineers 1 and UI/UX Professionals are responsible for collecting prioritizing and documenting user needs/requirements driving UI/UX design in support of software solution development that meets user needs and evaluating user experience and human performance both qualitatively and quantitatively. The engineer advocates for users when creating evaluating and modifying application prototypes to provide an efficient effective and positive experience.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities
Evaluates user experience and human performance to develop prototypes with guidance.
Creates evaluates and modifies application prototypes to provide an efficient effective and positive user experience.
Adapt appropriately within agile work environment
Identify challenges and risks associated wit assigned tasks and communicate them to project leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities
Curiosity-driven approach to solving complex customer-driven problems as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Collaborate and communicate effectively and openly with multi-disciplinary program team members program leadership and non-technical personnel
Team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to balance multiple competing tasks and demands.

Education
Bachelors Degree in Human-Computer Interaction Human Factors User Experience and Design Computer Science or a related field Masters degree preferred.

Experience
Requires 0-3 years experience in Human Centered Design Engineering or related.

Additional Job Description:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is

$62500.00 - $140000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreements approved rates by location and role.
