Job Summary

The Front-End Software Developer will join an Agile development team supporting the development and enhancement of applications in a fast-paced technologically evolving environment. The role will focus on designing and developing user interfaces creating interactive pages implementing UI features testing components and collaborating with developers customers and other technical teams.

The ideal candidate will contribute to high-quality software solutions by improving user experience maintainability and development practices while supporting digital transformation initiatives and leveraging emerging technologies aligned with cloud and AWS best practices.

Responsibilities

Front-End Software Development

  • Develop new UI features such as landing pages for reviewing data.
  • Design and implement interactive pages that allow users to enter and manage data.
  • Advocate for new or improved UI development practices that enhance user experience craftsmanship and maintainability.
  • Write and execute unit tests on new and existing UI components.
  • Support analysis identification and recommendation of solutions integration points and implementation architectures for improved business usage scalability and performance.

Agile Development & Collaboration

  • Work within Agile development methodologies.
  • Participate in Scrum SAFe and Kanban processes.
  • Assist the team with creating user stories and features for existing and upcoming UI development work.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure project success.
  • Provide demonstrations of new UI features and functionality to customers.

Documentation & Technical Support

  • Provide documentation and assist with deliverables related to user workflows.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced developers and administrators through code reviews solution design and recommended training and development plans.
Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Bachelors degree in a related discipline.
  • Strong team delivery and collaboration mindset.
  • Experience with Angular 20.
  • Experience with Git/GitLab.
  • Experience with Bootstrap.
  • Experience with Angular Material.
  • Experience with Cypress.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and/or Confluence.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Scrum SAFe and Kanban.
  • AWS experience and/or knowledge.
  • Experience with Apache PDFBox.
  • Experience with JUnit.
  • Experience integrating data analytics dashboard tools.
  • Experience with data governance and management integration.
  • AWS DevOps experience and/or AWS Certified Practitioner certification.
  • Commercial or national security sector DevOps knowledge.
