Tyler Pipe General Manager

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the facility by establishing business objectives driving operational performance and ensuring achievement of safety quality delivery cost productivity customer service and financial goals.
• Maintain accountability for operational excellence regulatory compliance and continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing structured problem solving and effective performance management processes.
• Align manufacturing engineering maintenance supply chain inventory logistics and workforce resources with customer demand business priorities and long-term growth strategies.
• Lead development and execution of operating and capital budgets productivity initiatives cost reduction efforts and strategic investments to improve profitability and sustainable business performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers suppliers corporate leadership and other key stakeholders while partnering with commercial teams to support customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Develop organizational capability through workforce planning coaching succession planning employee engagement and fostering a culture of accountability teamwork respect communication and effective labor relations.
• Lead strategic and cross-functional initiatives related to capacity expansion capital investments technology advancement process improvement organizational development and business growth.
• Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives and company goals.

Qualifications :

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration Operations Management or a related discipline required or an equivalent combination of education and significant relevant experience; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a world-class or heavy industrial manufacturing environment including at least 5 years in senior supervisory functional plant or business leadership roles.
• Demonstrated track record of improving safety quality delivery cost productivity customer service and overall operating performance.
• Demonstrated experience implementing Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma continuous improvement or comparable operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience leading large-scale industrial manufacturing operations strongly preferred; metal manufacturing foundry operations fabrication machining or related heavy industrial process experience is a plus.
• Experience working with represented employees and managing labor relations in a union environment preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with logic and fact-based decision-making.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing economics budgeting capital planning operational tradeoffs and customer requirements.
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities lead multiple functional disciplines and work in a union environment.
