Position Summary
The Tutor and Retention Coordinator for the BSN Prelicensure Program is responsible for working with faculty and undergraduate prelicensure students to increase the retention of students from enrollment to graduation and to improve and maintain first time NCLEX -RN exam pass rates at or above the national average.
Required Qualifications
MSN degree with knowledge of health care systems. 2 years experience in tutoring and remediation Unencumbered nursing license. Excellent knowledge of computer systems needed to track student performance. Ability to communicate effectively and work directly with a variety of people. Ability to problem-solve work autonomously and as a team player and to be a self-starter. Handle detailed work in a multi-task environment. Enthusiastic outgoing and customer service oriented. Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
