Turf, Tree and Vegetation Specialist

Job Summary: A Turf & Tree Fertilization Specialist applies fertilizers herbicides insecticides and other treatments to lawns trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth and control weeds insects and diseases. The role requires working outdoors operating application equipment and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply fertilizers weed control insecticides and fungicides to lawns trees and shrubs.
• Diagnose common turf tree and shrub health issues.
• Identify weeds insects diseases and nutrient deficiencies.
• Operate and maintain spreaders sprayers and application equipment.
• Keep accurate records of treatments and products used.
• Follow all safety regulations and label instructions for chemical applications.
• Communicate treatment recommendations and lawn care advice to customers.
• Inspect properties and recommend additional services when needed.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment.
• Preferred Categories: 3A 3B & 6
• Secondary Categories are welcome: 2 5 & 7

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• State pesticide/applicator license preferred (or ability to obtain after hire).
• Experience in lawn care landscaping arboriculture or turf management is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Typical Pay Range (U.S.)

• Experienced Technician: $22 based on experience
