A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Trusts Estates & Wealth Transfer Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising high-net-worth individuals families business owners and fiduciaries on sophisticated estate planning wealth transfer and tax matters. This role also presents a unique opportunity to join and help build a rapidly growing Chicago office.

3 years of trusts & estates estate planning wealth transfer or related tax experience

Experience advising high-net-worth individuals families business owners and fiduciaries on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies

Experience drafting and implementing wills revocable and irrevocable trusts powers of attorney gifting strategies and other estate planning documents

Experience with gift estate generation-skipping transfer and income tax planning matters

Experience with trust and estate administration probate proceedings and fiduciary counseling is preferred

Experience advising clients regarding business succession planning charitable planning and wealth transfer strategies is a plus

Strong drafting analytical and client counseling skills

Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships

Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Sophisticated private client and wealth transfer practice
