The position
Our Societys warehouse in Mitchell is the central hub for receiving sorting and distributing goods to our retail centres and the storage of materials and goods used for supporting programs that assist people in need. We are seeking a motivated Truck Driver with a current Australian Medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) licence to join the team.
Working as a Truck Driver you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and pick up of goods and donations to and from members of the community and retail stores (27 stores across the region). As part of a team that represents Vinnies in the community your work directly supports the success of our retail operations and the programs that assist vulnerable in the community.

About You
We are looking for a safety-focused hands-on individual with a strong interest in warehousing logistics and transport operations. A practical solutions-focused approach and strong commitment to safe work practices are essential.
This is a physically demanding role involving regular repetitive lifting loading and unloading goods and operating a medium rigid vehicle. A current MR or HR licence is required along with the ability to work Monday to Friday and on public holidays as needed.
