Truck Driver CDL A
Job Summary
Day Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm home daily.
PTO upon hire Medical Dental and Vision Benefits are offered on the first day of the next month after hire 401(K) after 6 months
Overview: As a Truck Driver for Keel Midwest you will be responsible for using a company truck to transport and deliver products between facilities both within the organization and to any other locations as needed for local business.
Job Functions:
- Transportation of product between internal facilities and to customer location.
- Inspection of vehicle before driving or operation compliant with environmental health and safety requirements.
- Supervises loading and offloading of cargo onto the vehicle.
- Secures cargo in a safe reliable manner to prevent damage spills or leaks.
- Any other duties as assigned related to the transport of products for operational support.
Physical Demands: While operating vehicle you will be subject to normal driving hazards including but not limited to jarring bouncing and vibration. Will occasionally be required to perform some heavy lifting or carrying not over 50 pounds without mechanical support or other assistive divices.
Work Environment: Will be within indoor manufacturing facilities including but not limited to those which may have exposure to dust debris welding fumes or flash paint fumes oils lubricants or other manufacturing hazards. While on the road will be subject to normal road hazards associated with driving. Will also have outdoor duties so exposure to various weather conditions such as rain snow heat cold and wind are to be expected.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- CDL A required with appropriate endorsements and a current DOT medical certificate and physically qualified in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Flatbed and forklift experience highly preferred.
- Ideal candidates will have at least three years of heavy-duty driving experience.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Will need to maintain concentration alertness and attention to detail while monitoring routine processes and operating motor vehicles.
- Time management and reasoning skills are required to apply established procedures and ensure product delivery is made on time.
