Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting goods from one location to another in a safe and timely manner. You will be operating a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers flatbeds and box trucks depending on the type of cargo being transported.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate trucks to transport goods to their destination

- Plan and execute delivery routes ensuring timely delivery of goods

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels and tire pressure

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks

- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status

- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road

- Keep accurate records of deliveries including mileage fuel usage and delivery times

- Report any incidents accidents or mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel

- Maintain a clean and organized truck both inside and out

- Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid commercial drivers license (CDL)

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver

- Clean driving record with no traffic violations

- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations

- Ability to operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers flatbeds and box trucks

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects

- Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and repair

- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if needed
