JOB SUMMARY: The Harrisburg School District is seeking a dependable safety-focused Part-Time School Bus Trip Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for students attending athletic events field trips and other extracurricular activities during school hours evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school field trips and other district-sanctioned events.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good operating condition.
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and school district policies.
• Monitor student behavior on the bus to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Communicate effectively with students parents and school staff.
• Report any mechanical issues delays or accidents to the appropriate authorities promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with a School Bus (S) endorsement.
• Clean driving record with no history of major violations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience reliability and a genuine interest in working with children.
