About the Role:

A growing and highly respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join its litigation team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated litigator who wants meaningful responsibility direct client interaction and significant courtroom exposure while working on high-value personal injury matters.

The successful candidate will manage cases through all phases of litigation from pleadings and discovery through mediation trial preparation and trial. This role offers the opportunity to develop case strategy advocate for injured clients and play a key role in achieving successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution and trial.
  • Draft pleadings motions oppositions and other litigation-related documents.
  • Prepare review and respond to written discovery.
  • Draft meet-and-confer correspondence and discovery motions.
  • Conduct and defend fact witness and expert witness depositions.
  • Appear at hearings motion arguments and court proceedings.
  • Develop litigation strategies and identify key evidence to strengthen case value.
  • Prepare mediation briefs and represent clients during mediation and settlement negotiations.
  • Draft and prepare pre-trial filings exhibits witness lists and trial materials.
  • Actively participate in trial preparation and trial proceedings.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case strategy and status updates.
  • Collaborate with litigation assistants paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
  • Attend professional development programs and ongoing legal training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Nevada State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Strong experience handling litigation matters independently.
  • Excellent legal writing research and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience conducting depositions and appearing at hearings.
  • Strong case management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.
  • Self-motivated professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and advocacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Plaintiff-side personal injury experience.
  • Trial experience including jury trials.
  • Experience handling complex or high-value injury matters.
  • Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Experience managing litigation support staff and collaborating with legal teams.
