Job Summary
The Triage Engineering team is looking for an engineer with a strong technical and triaging background to help screen and triage incoming bug reports handle a large influx of reports reduce them to practical steps and assign them to the appropriate team. By understanding the reports coming in and escalating them appropriately you will play a key part in making future releases of Apples communication applications and browser this role you will help us screen incoming bugs run a large queue in a timely manner reduce them to practical steps and assign them to appropriate engineers. Excellent communication skills are a must because of the close interaction with several engineering teams throughout Apple for this addition to leveraging your programming skills to automate and scale various aspect of triaging to identify critical issues faster.
Triage incoming bugs analyze logs reproduce issues and help determine the correct resolvers the priority of problems while identifying emerging trends across the reported issuesnDesign develop and automate triaging of incoming bugsnDrive quality and champion bug fixes by working closely with the development team and participating in root cause analysis.
B.S or M.S in Computer Science or equivalent experiencenAbility to utilize triaging troubleshooting and debugging techniquesnExcellent written and verbal communicationnExperience working with Git or other source control systemsnExcellent programming skills in Python Javascript or other languagesnExpertise in using Gen-AI day to day
Experience in Swift or Objective-C or C/C nExperience in building and deploying toolsnUnderstanding of ML/AI concepts and data analytics
