Treatment Transfer Counselor Harbor Light Complex Corrections Program

Responsible for providing chemical dependency education and group therapy managing a case load and ensuring adherence to conditions of the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and the Harbor Light Complex.

Rate of pay is $21.00/hr

CDCA or higher required.

• Screening and assessment interview of all clients upon intake using program approved screening and assessment instruments.
• preparation of CCIS intake report for each new client.
• supervise residents on assigned caseload meeting as often with them as needed and required.
• facilitate group therapy
• didactic presentations as assigned.
• contribute to discharge plans and reports.
• be knowledgeable of and assist with Thinking for a Change program as needed.
• participate in the family programs.
• other duties as assigned by supervisor associate director of corrections director of corrections or the executive director.

• prior experience in community-based treatment
• ability to handle resident populations
• knowledge of chemical dependency treatment and recovery
• must be licensed under the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (at minimum a CDCA)
