Responsible for providing chemical dependency education and group therapy managing a case load and ensuring adherence to conditions of the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and the Harbor Light Complex.
Rate of pay is $21.00/hr
CDCA or higher required.
- Screening and assessment interview of all clients upon intake using program approved screening and assessment instruments.
- preparation of CCIS intake report for each new client.
- supervise residents on assigned caseload meeting as often with them as needed and required.
- facilitate group therapy
- didactic presentations as assigned.
- contribute to discharge plans and reports.
- be knowledgeable of and assist with Thinking for a Change program as needed.
- participate in the family programs.
- other duties as assigned by supervisor associate director of corrections director of corrections or the executive director.
- prior experience in community-based treatment
- ability to handle resident populations
- knowledge of chemical dependency treatment and recovery
- must be licensed under the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (at minimum a CDCA)
