Under direct superivsion responsible for financial planning and analysis to forecast budgets and financial status.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING:
- Perform daily cash balancing and reconciliation of prior-day bank activity.
- Prepare daily cash position and borrowing recommendations to support funding decisions.
- Meet critical daily deadlines including commercial paper funding activities by 9:30 AM and other funding by 11:00 AM.
- Maintain daily cash worksheets and ensure internal cash workbooks reconcile to bank balances.
- Process wire transfers and payment requests including review of supporting documentation and verification of payment instructions.
- Monitor and manage the Treasury inbox responding to requests and tracking items through completion.
- Reconcile and manage Canadian / International cash balances and related banking activity.
- Prepare and distribute daily cash reports and cash forecasts to Treasury leadership and business stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audit requests including SOX control testing.
- Bachelor of Finance or Accounting
- Treasury cash management or banking experience preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with reconciliations in large workbooks.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Able to work independently manage competing priorities and meet critical daily deadlines.
- High level of integrity and ownership when handling large banking transactions.
- Reliable and available during morning office hours to support cash management activities.
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $53000 - $69300 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Companys applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
