Treasury Accountant and Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Job Summary/Basic Function: | Treasury Accountant: The Treasury Accountant plays a key role in safeguarding the universitys cash assets through accurate and timely cash reconciliation analysis and collaboration. This position is responsible for reconciling complex cash activity analyzing large data sets and ensuring accounting transactions are complete accurate and compliant with university policies and audit requirements. Treasury Senior Accountant: Analyzes complex financial reports and records and makesrecommendations based on analysis and status of reserves assets and expenditures. Responsible for overseeing and managing treasury systems related to cash debt and investments. Facilitates compliance with state and federal regulations and policies. Both positions partner closely with internal treasurystaff University Financial Services (UFS) departments and campusstakeholders to resolve outstanding items improve businessprocesses and support treasury operations. These roles also contribute to treasury initiatives including implementation of cash management solutions and continuous process improvements. These positions are not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. |

Level Scope: | Treasury Senior Accountant: Recognized subject matter expert who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field with limited oversight from managers. Independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; requires deep job knowledge of area typically obtained through higher education combined with experience. Manages large projects or processes and problems faced are difficult and often complex; analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies processes and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy. Influences others regarding policies practices and procedures. |

MinimumQualifications: | Treasury Accountant: Bachelors degree or equivalent plus two years of experience. Treasury Senior Accountant: Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Accounting Business or related field plus 5 years minimum experience in similar type of work. |

Salary and Benefits: | Treasury Accountant: Salary starting at$60673.60 annually and is commensurate with experience.
