OPC Traveling Construction Superintendent with Ground-up Experience - Full-time Position.

We specialize in big box retail open-store remodels and are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to support our Walmart projects. This is a salaried position with travel requirements. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional leader and have a positive proactive attitude. This position requires a high level of communication and detailed reporting. Previous Walmart or Big Box Renovation experience is a plus.

Skills and Abilities Needed:
  • Extensive technical and practical knowledge and experience as a Superintendent.
  • Ability to Read Blueprints.
  • Manage schedule and coordinate 5-20 subcontractors on general construction projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction practices and methods as well as construction management.
  • Ability to write and speak to report on progress and outcome of technical assignments and to present recommendations.
  • Ability to monitor construction projects to a successful and timely completion.
  • Excellent scheduling problem-resolution communication and leadership skills.
  • High level of follow through on tasks to completion.
  • Exceptional verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including Google Drive Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office. Holobuilder and Wrike a plus.
  • Ability to use mobile apps on job sites for reporting and communication
  • Strong analytical skills; very detail-oriented organized and able to supervise the work of others.
  • Valid drivers license with a driving record that meets Company standards.
  • Travel required.
