Location: Hyannis Massachusetts
Duration:13-Week Contract
Shift: Days 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in a fast-paced Operating Room setting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of surgical procedures sterile techniques and operating room protocols while supporting surgeons and nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.

• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during a variety of surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile operating room environments according to AORN standards
• Set up surgical instruments equipment sterile drapes and supplies for procedures
• Pass instruments and sterile supplies during surgery
• Assist with retractors sutures specimen handling and surgical dressings
• Ensure all surgical instruments and specialty equipment are available and functioning properly
• Support patient positioning and transport within the surgical suite
• Prepare and label medications under the direction of the surgeon and RN
• Assist with room turnover and restocking between procedures
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards at all times
• Participate in orientation staff education and teamwork initiatives within the department

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (Civilian or Military)
• Current NBSTSA Certification required
• Active BLS Certification required
• Strong Orthopedic surgical experience highly preferred
