Job Overview

We are seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment in a post-acute skilled nursing facility. The SLP will evaluate diagnose and treat speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric populations.

This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a collaborative rehab environment and enjoys travel assignments in long-term care settings.


Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with speech language and swallowing disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Document evaluations progress notes and treatment outcomes
Collaborate with OT PT nursing and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on therapy plans and strategies
Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and facility protocols
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


Assignment Details

Start Date: 06/08/2026
End Date: 09/05/2026

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 16:30

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Contract Length: Approximately 13 Weeks


Requirements

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a travel assignment setting
Must meet facility onboarding requirements
Must comply with ID badge and facility policies
COVID-19 vaccination or exemption may be required per facility policy
