Job Overview

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment. The SLP will evaluate diagnose and treat communication cognitive and swallowing disorders while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment goals as needed
Educate patients families and caregivers
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians therapists and nursing staff
Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
Follow facility policies and professional standards of practice

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Contract Length: 14 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week

Requirements

Active Speech Language Pathologist license
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Current BLS certification preferred
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Valid state/federal photo ID required onsite at all times
Compliance with onboarding and health requirements
