Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will provide clinical leadership oversee nursing staff coordinate patient care services and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care.

This role is well-suited for Registered Nurses with leadership experience in long-term care settings who excel at team management and clinical oversight.


Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursing operations within the assigned unit
Supervise and support nursing staff including RNs LPNs and CNAs
Coordinate resident care plans and ensure quality outcomes
Monitor clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
Conduct assessments and participate in care planning meetings
Address resident family and staff concerns professionally
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards


Assignment Details

Start Date: 05/29/2026
End Date: 08/28/2026

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 07:00 15:30

Schedule: As Assigned
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Contract Length: Approximately 14 Weeks


Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Previous Unit Manager or nursing leadership experience preferred
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
Ability to supervise and mentor nursing staff
Must comply with facility onboarding requirements
Must bring state or federally issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required per facility policy
