KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage haemodialysis treatments for ESRD patients in a chronic dialysis setting
- Initiate and monitor dialysis access (fistula graft catheter); respond to access complications
- Administer intravenous medications including iron dextran and EPO per protocol
- Monitor patient haemodynamics during treatment; manage intradialytic complications
- Complete required CMS/ESRD Network documentation accurately
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- Active Texas RN licence or compact licence eligibility
- BLS certification - current
- Minimum 1 year haemodialysis RN experience (chronic or acute)
- Dialysis access assessment experience
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- CNN certification (Certified Nephrology Nurse)
- Acute dialysis / CRRT experience
