| Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts - rotating |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage mechanical ventilators for critically ill adult and paediatric patients
- Perform arterial blood gas sampling analysis and interpretation
- Administer aerosolised medications and bronchial hygiene therapy
- Assist with intubations bronchoscopies and difficult airway management
- Document respiratory assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- CRT or RRT credential (NBRC) - current
- Active Texas respiratory care licence
- BLS and ACLS certifications - current
- Minimum 1 year acute-care or paediatric respiratory therapy experience
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- NPS (Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist) credential
- NICU or PICU ventilator experience
