| Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts - rotating |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor maternal and foetal well-being using EFM throughout active labour
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and operative obstetric procedures
- Administer oxytocin tocolytics and epidural support medications per protocol
- Respond to obstetric emergencies including shoulder dystocia and cord prolapse
- Complete delivery and postpartum documentation in the EMR
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- Active Texas RN licence or compact licence eligibility
- BLS and NRP certifications - current
- Minimum 2 years L&D RN experience
- Electronic foetal monitoring proficiency
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- RNC-OB certification
- High-risk obstetrics experience
