Job Summary
Full-Time Live-Out Nanny
Location: Charlottesville VA
Schedule: Monday-Friday generally 10:00 AM-6:00 PM (40 guaranteed hours/week). Flexibility is required for approximately two date nights per month 1-2 domestic trips per quarter and occasional schedule adjustments with advance notice.
Compensation/Benefits: $30-$35/hour (gross W-2) depending on experience PTO paid major holidays

They have two wonderful children: a 3-year-old who will begin preschool this fall and a 9-month-old who will be the primary focus during the day. Responsibilities
Provide attentive nurturing care for the infant throughout the day
Care for both children when the 3-year-old is home from preschool and on school breaks
Plan engaging age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development
Prepare meals and snacks for the children and assist with dinner preparation
Complete childrens laundry and maintain wardrobes
Keep childrens bedrooms playrooms nursery and supplies clean organized and well-stocked weekly
Partner closely with Mom to maintain consistent routines and support the childrens development
Assist with additional child-related projects as needed

They understand the pace of a busy household communicate well take initiative and are flexible when family needs arise. Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience in a private household
Significant infant and toddler experience
Excellent verifiable references
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Strong swimmer preferred
Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
Comfortable with domestic travel
Early Childhood Education background is a plus
