Job Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract rehabilitation assignment. The PTA will support Physical Therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility strength and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
Provide guided therapeutic exercises and mobility training
Document patient progress and treatment responses
Educate patients on exercise and rehabilitation techniques
Support safe patient handling and transfers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab teams
Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Assignment Details

Start Date: 06/15/2026
End Date: 09/14/2026

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week

Requirements

Active PTA license (state required)
Graduate of accredited PTA program
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Experience in rehab/SNF settings preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Valid state/federal photo ID required onsite at all times
Compliance with onboarding and health requirements
