Job Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic care aimed at improving patient mobility strength and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Assist patients with exercises and mobility training
Monitor patient progress and report changes
Support rehabilitation goals for post-acute and long-term care patients
Document therapy sessions accurately
Ensure safe handling and transfer techniques
Collaborate with rehab and nursing teams
Maintain compliance with facility policies and clinical standards

Assignment Details

Start Date: 08/17/2026
End Date: 11/14/2026

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday (Full-time contract)
Contract Length: Approximately 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements

Active PTA license required (state dependent)
Associates degree from accredited PTA program required
Experience in rehab or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work under supervision of Physical Therapist
Must comply with facility onboarding requirements
Valid state/federal ID required on-site at all times
COVID-19 vaccination or exemption may be required per facility policy
