Job Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment. The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help implement treatment plans improve patient mobility and support rehabilitation goals.


Key Responsibilities

Assist with implementation of physical therapy treatment plans
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients on exercises and mobility techniques
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
Assist in restoring patient mobility strength and functional independence
Ensure compliance with facility policies and rehabilitation standards
Promote patient safety and quality care outcomes


Assignment Details

Start Date: 06/29/2026
End Date: 09/28/2026

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday
Contract Length: 14 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week


Requirements

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to follow treatment plans developed by a Physical Therapist
Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Valid state/federal photo ID required onsite at all times
Compliance with onboarding and facility requirements
Must maintain all required credentials and certifications
