Job Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility strength function and overall quality of life through individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
Monitor and document patient progress toward rehabilitation goals
Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercise programs
Assist with transfer training gait training and functional activities
Maintain accurate treatment documentation and records
Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising therapist
Follow all facility safety and rehabilitation protocols

End Date: 09/14/2026

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week

Requirements

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license/certification (state required)
Graduate of an accredited PTA program
Previous rehabilitation skilled nursing outpatient or post-acute experience preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic exercises
Valid state/federal photo ID required on-site at all times
Compliance with facility onboarding and health requirements
