Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel assignment in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. The ideal candidate will evaluate plan and implement occupational therapy interventions to improve patients independence in activities of daily living.

This role requires strong clinical adaptability and the ability to work effectively in structured rehab environments.


Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients functional abilities and occupational performance
Develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs (activities of daily living)
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment use
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including OT PT nursing and physicians
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements

Start Date: 08/03/2026
End Date: 10/31/2026

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 16:30

Schedule: Monday Friday
Contract Length: Approximately 13 Weeks


Requirements

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
Degree in Occupational Therapy
Prior rehab or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and treatment planning skills
Ability to work in structured clinical environments
Must comply with onboarding and facility requirements
Must bring state or federally issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
