- Provide specialized nursing care to individuals and groups using knowledge from biological physical behavioral social and nursing sciences.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care according to TCHs model promoting partnerships between patients families and healthcare teams.
- Deliver culturally sensitive and age-appropriate care.
- Adhere to the American Nursing Association (ANA) code of ethics and comply with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
- Work on the 5S General Surgery unit a fast-paced 39-bed unit with all-private rooms.
- Care for patients undergoing general surgery ENT procedures and medical overflow cases.
- Gain experience with a diverse patient population building a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing.
- Collaborate in a supportive team-oriented environment suitable for both experienced nurses and new graduates.
