Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
- Perform wound care catheter care and other skilled nursing procedures
- Complete nursing assessments and contribute to care plan updates
- Document accurately in the EMR and communicate patient status changes
- Supervise CNA/GNA staff as assigned
- Support infection control regulatory compliance and quality care initiatives
Requirements
- Active state LPN/LVN license (or compact license eligibility)
- CPR/BLS certification current
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a LTC/SNF or similar setting
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and medication administration
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Active New Mexico Caregivers Registry listing - required for placement at NM facilities
