Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care setting. The LPN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care administering medications and supervising nursing assistants while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining resident safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents including medication administration and treatments
• Monitor and document residents health status and report changes to the RN or physician
• Supervise and guide Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in daily care activities
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
• Ensure a clean safe and organized patient care environment
• Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies
• Follow infection control safety and facility protocols
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and families

Requirements

• ActiveKansas LPN license(required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible schedules
• Strong clinical communication and leadership skills
• Compassionate patient-centred approach
