Location: Lake Isabella CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: June 22 2026
Schedule: 36 Hours per Week
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)Rotation (Thursday Friday & Saturday Nights)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lake Isabella California. This role requires providing high-quality emergency nursing care while also taking on House Supervisor responsibilities during designated shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently making critical decisions and collaborating effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
  • Perform accurate and timely patient triage.
  • Monitor assess and communicate patient conditions to physicians and care teams.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical patient needs.
  • Serve as House Supervisor during assigned shifts.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation using electronic medical record systems.
  • Float to Med-Surg as needed.
  • Cross-train in other nursing departments when required.
  • Ensure compliance with all facility policies and patient safety standards.
Requirements
  • Active California RN License.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
  • Current certifications:
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NRP
    • ATT
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred.
  • Ability to pass a nursing medication test.
  • Strong communication critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients staff physicians and the public.
