COMPLIANCE NOTES
- Registry personnel must bring a state or federal issued photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
- Agency staff must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series or present a documented religious and/or medical exemption from their employer
- Additional vaccine doses must be obtained where required by law
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient/resident care including activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing dressing grooming and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient/resident condition to the nursing team
- Assist with transfers repositioning and ambulation using proper body mechanics and facility protocols
- Accurately document care provided in the EMR
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with infection control and regulatory standards
- Support nursing staff with tasks as directed within CNA scope of practice
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- Active state CNA certification - Maine current and in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification - current
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a Skilled Nursing / LTC setting
