Job Overview

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a contract assignment. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional abilities increase independence and achieve rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Educate patients on adaptive techniques and equipment use
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
Support patients in improving daily living and functional skills
Ensure compliance with facility policies and rehabilitation standards
Promote patient safety and quality care outcomes

Assignment Details

Start Date: 07/13/2026
End Date: 10/10/2026

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM
Schedule: Monday Friday
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week

Requirements

Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license/certification
Previous rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to follow treatment plans developed by an Occupational Therapist
Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Valid state/federal photo ID required onsite at all times
Compliance with onboarding and facility requirements
Must maintain all required credentials and certifications
